Roog/Hardsoul Ministry Of Sound 7th Of June 2008

Headlining are our first DJ duo that have been associated with Defected Records since the start, they are also our premier Pacha Ibiza residents – you may remember the huge crossover club smashes ‘Stupidisco’, ‘Da Hype’, ‘E Samba’ ‘Thrill Me’ and more recently ‘See You Dancin’. These are from the titanic native Italian producer Junior Jack and his partner in crime Kid Crème. Any event they play is always a roadblock.

You won’t have to go far to hear us shouting loud about our new rising stars of the international DJ scene, Sam Holt and Gavin Mills aka DJ duo Copyright. These guys are Defected’s premier world wide touring artists are the producers behind a number of recent club hits including ‘Bulo’, ‘He Is’, ‘I Pray’ and the recent ‘Wizeman’. They are a rare breed – UK house DJ’s that stand shoulder to shoulder with all of their huge American contemporaries. They remain ambassadors for the UK Dance scene and they release their debut album Voices and Visions and the UK’s most appropriate venue. Imanni (of Incognito fame) will perform a live P.A of Copyright’s ‘Wizeman’ and ‘I Pray’.

Joining the headliners are our THIRD set of DJ duos, recently voted biggest and best DJ’s in Holland for three consecutive years. Dutch brothers Roog and Greg Van Buren aka Hardsoul are true disciples of house music. They are best recognized for their huge soulful track ‘Back Together’ with Ron Carroll in 2005 and their recent tough underground release ‘Your Mind Is Twisted’.

DJ Yass our hot French signing also makes his debut appearance at Ministry. He is the next generation of French house producers after Gregory, Sinclar and Solveig and is definitely one to watch. Also welcome our newest DJ roster addition Miss Divine who will be handling our Ibiza affairs.
