D-Fused and Digital Mixed by Hardsoul ; Out Now!

Dutch production duo Hardsoul are brothers Rogier (DJ Roog) and Greg van Bueren. After a decade as industry professionals, they have a string of hit productions to their name, as well as being able to boast Todd Terry, Blaze, King Britt and Africanism as notches in their remix bedpost. Add to this their two record labels, Hardsoul Pressings and R&G Electronics, and you have one of the hardest working and most prolific outfits in House music today.

Their D-Fused and digital showcases both past and future classics along with a few self-produced tracks. Copyright’s ‘Deeper’ opens the proceedings, with Imaani’s vocal flowing perfectly into Dennis Ferrer’s awesome ‘Touched the Sky’ before the beautifully understated, drifting melodies of the Yoruba’s Soul mix of ‘Time After Time’ rounds off a trio of vocally gems.

Other highlights include the acappella of Greg Jereonski & Roog’s ‘Your Mind Is Twisted’ laid over the frenetic, tribal ‘Drummin’ by Alex Wizz to devastating effect. Things get deeply techy with Ida Engberg’s ‘Disco Volante’ and Sandy Rivera’s ‘Freak’, before the blinding remix of DJ Gregory’s classic ‘Attend’ by Yass and Marlon D’s infectious, body-poppin Dance 2 Da Beat’ round things off. Expertly selected and flawlessly mixed, this is essential fodder for both DJ’s and House music fans alike.
